Think DD has broken her toe, worth taking her to minor injuries tomorrow?

Couple of days ago DD age 8 stubbed her little toe on the corner of the wall at the top of the stairs. She's been hobbling ever since and her toe is a little swollen and very lightly bruised. She's still in pain and she's still awake as can't get to sleep because of it.
If it was me I'd strap it up and ride it out but not sure if I'd be wasting NHS time if I took her in to have it looked at tomorrow?

Take her in. 99% of broken digits are fine with strapping but a small number may not be. Not worth the risk of it not healing well.

They will not x-ray toes (other than the big toe) as even if it shows a break, the management.
Unless of course the toe is angulated (sticking out at a funny angle) or twisted.

I would suggest gently strapping the toe to the toe next to it, give her regular paracetamol & ibuprofen (as long as she is ok with ibuprofen) to keep the pain at bay. It may well be sore for a week or so but children do heal very quickly.

We had the same thing and minor injuries would not x-ray and suggested the same as the OP above.
