How to give half sachet of Movicol plain pediatric?

Planning to reduce dose from a sachet a day to half sachet a day.... One sachet 6.9g....do you use a digital scale for this? Pardon me asking this silly question.

Not a silly question at all. Assuming that the full packet will not overdose your dc, I would simply shake out half the packet into a glass and mix with water instead of the whole thing, thereby reducing the dosage. However, if you need to be accurate then use the digital scales.
I seem to remember that you end up giving an awful lot of the paediatric movicol sachets in a day...possibly up to 12 a day for a bigger child? (I'm guessing you are at the end of the weaning down stage) Hope that helped.
