Does anyone have any experience with juvenile idiopathic arthritis? My DD has just been diagnosed with JIA after 3 months of worsening symptoms. She is 17 months old. She has just been into hospital to have steroid injections in 5 joints, she had to have this under general anaesthetic which wasn't very nice for us but for the best. The improvement just the next day is amazing, she got up in the morning and walked off pretty much as normal - she hasn't done that for a while. We have to wait to get her immunised against chicken pox before starting methotrexate to get this under control.
