Infected in grown toe nail... recently cut by podiatrist... FUCIDIN?

Dd is 12 and has bad ingrown toe nails on both feet. Just finished oral antibiotics on Saturday. Podiatrist cut away sections of nail on Wednesday. Both toes smelly and gunky despite salt water soaks and dressing twice daily. We have some old fucidin cream. Should we use it? Or get more antibiotics from Dr? She was in them for a week. Sorry to be abrupt but keyboard playing up!
Any adviceplease?

I wouldn't assume it was fungal but would go back to the GP and ask for a swab and targeted antibiotics. Carry on cleaning the wounds. I use 3% H2O2 . I would also try to speak to the podiatrist.

Thanks. Fucidin is antibiotic cream. We have more oral antibiotics now.
