Stomach pain that comes and goes

I'm assuming that this is just a bug, just wondering if anyone has had similar? DD1 is almost 8. She had bad stomach pains late Thursday night, seemed ok for school on Friday but then felt nauseous and was eventually sick. Mostly fine over the weekend, complained a bit but eating ok etc. Then in pain again today.

With anyone else I'd say it was school avoidance, but that's pretty unlikely with DD1- she loves school.

My son is younger, 4, but on two occasions with tonsillitis he's had bad stomach pain due to glands in his abdomen swelling and causing pain. I'm sorry I can't remember the medical term for it. is your daughter otherwise healthy, except the stomach pain?

Abdominal migraine?

I was going to suggest tonsillitis too.
