Spots like chickenpox but not chicken pox??

My dd1(5) has these spots in odd places. 3 on lower back, 1 on bottom, 2 on foot and maybe a couple more in different places. Last month she had a cluster of them on her upper fore arm. Every time they happen I think ooh is this chicken pox but nothing comes of it. Any ideas what it could be? She hasn't and chicken pox yet.

I've got a similar thang going on with my shoulder. Doctor thought it was folliculitis but a course of antibiotics didn't do anything. Dr Google says it might be a fungal folliculitis thing so I am using daktarin cream and it seems to be working.

Not everyone reacts to bites the same way. Our house had fleas and I was eaten alive, oh had a few bites and ds had not a single bite! All living in the same rooms.

Reviving this thread as they are back....
Not as many this time but it can't be fleas.
They don't itch or bother her. Is it ok to ignore them or are they telling me something?

Lots of kids here have body rashes from cold sore virus (related to cpx) - bit odd - i'd not heard of it before but i can see how people would think 'mild cpx'

That rash looks a bit allergy reaction/hives - maybe midge bites reacted to? Does piriton help at all?

I was coming on to suggest midgie bites or black fly bites but I see
BombadierFritz has beaten me to it. I would say the lack of itching would suggest it might not be a bite though.

Do the spots look like they have a yellow blister type of centre? I'm thinking it could be hand, foot and mouth. The spots caused by that are generally not itchy and look similar to the photos you have posted.
