dry flaky scalp following head lice treatment

DD (12) had head lice again recently, which was treated with hedrin twice, and many times combing through tea tree conditioner with the nit comb. I think we've finally got rid of them, but her scalp is now really flaky. Any tips for how to treat the flakiness, or should it just clear up on its own?

Should clear up shortly as a child I had head lice and the treatment did the same to me, I remember my mum putting baby oil on on a night and washing off in the morning always with tea tree shampoo SmileGrin
