GP thinks dd (13) has torn the cartilage in her hip joint - she's had increasing pain over the last two months to the point where she's not able to do any sports apart from v gentle swimming and walking any more than a few steps is increasingly tricky. She's going for an mri scan soon and her appointment with the paediatric physios has finally come through but she's v miserable and finding it hard to sleep.
I was wondering if anyone's child had gone through something similar, what the treatment was and what especially helped?
