prescription needed for asthma inhaler

We have stupidly come away for the weekend without DDs asthma inhaler.

She has started coughing and am wondering if I need a doctors prescription for the inhaler or a chemist will let me have one

call NHS 111 for advice - if you do need a GP they can point you at one, and you go as 'temporary resident'.

don't hang around.

Go to a walk in centre and they will give you one. Or rung out of hours for that area to get gp appointments you will have to temporarily register it's a pain in the arse but only way you will get one is with a prescription.

Unless you usually collect prescription from a major pharmacy then if you're very lucky they may lend you one if dd is on the system as having been prescribed one
