Son says he feels hot but he isn't

My nine and a half year old son has been saying he feels hot but he has no temperature. He seems perky enough in himself. He had a bug earlier this week so perhaps that? I have never known him to complain about this. I do wonder about hormones because he has been smelling of b o for a while now.
Any suggestions? Xx

My DC have often had a temperature difference of 2 degrees between ears with the digital thermometer, when ill. Have you checked both sides? Ibuprofen will lower it, if that is the case.

If a daily bath or shower isn't keeping on top of the B.O. Get him an anti-perspirant/ deodorant and encourage him to wash thoroughly.

Yes neither show temperature but he says he feels hot. It comes and goes so I'm hoping it's a virus x

If he's perky enough, it can't be too bad, hopefully he'll be fine soon. Is it half term for you? He'll definitely be ok if it is Smile

Yes it is, he seems up and down but complains of feeling hot (no temp) and a headache with it. Not debilitating though. He looks rough too. I dint think he's really ill but it does seem strange. X

Is he feeling better yet? If he isn't it might be worth having him checked out again, if he still looks rough.

You can feel hot and clammy without a temp if he has been iffy its probably related to that.
