Baby sounds like he's got a snotty nose

but hasn't. He's 12 weeks old nearly. I took him to the Drs about it and they listend to his chest which was clear. He wasn't making the noise at the time - its not constant but sounds like he's breathing through snot. He gets dry bogies sometimes but no wet stuff, and it really comes and goes.

He's just been doing it and yet now is breathing normally. It doesn't seem to affect him.

any ideas?

Try saline drops in each nostril and gently massage . This will help bring the mucus down if it is up there... They tend to hate it but it works....am surprised the doc did not mention it if you say he sounds as if he is breathing through snot....
