Ds ill and his (healthy) teeth hurt badly?

Does anyone know why his teeth might all suddenly hurt overnight when he tries to eat? They look as strong and white as ever and it doesn't seem the teeth themselves . I've checked for ulcers and the only thing I've noticed is his tongue a greenish colour instead of his normal pink.
He's had a worse and worse appetite over the last few weeks and barely touched a thing today and I've been to the GP yesterday and but the painful teeth thing is new

I don't mean they hurt overnight, sorry, I mean it started overnight and seems part of whatever is making him feel so ill

Could it be sinusitis?

Sinus infection? Do kids get sinus infections? My molars hurt when I have them

How old is he? Is his illness making him more sensitive to adult teeth pushing through? Are his gums soft/swollen/infected - mine swelled up when I was pg and that made my teeth hurt.

Oh thank you. This sounds very possible though no sign of a runny nose or anything. I made him soup as he was finding even soft bread and a strawberry too painful to eat.

Oh and sinusitis can cause post nasal drip where the mucus runs down your throat and makes you feel nauseous, which could explain lack of appetite. I'd take him back to the doctor in light of him getting worse. Hope he feels better soon. Must be awful for him, whatever it is

Could be sinusitis. I've had it a few times and your teeth feel like they are rotten and about to fall out. Poor boy must be feeling rubbish if it is

I was also coming on to say sinuses. I get a horrid toothache every time!

My teeth hurt when I get sick. It's my way of telling how sick I'm going to get.
Your nerves for your molars run very close to your sinus so when the sinus is affected your teeth can be too.

Thank you all very much. You've actually been more helpful than the well-meaning doctor who tried to take ds' blood just now but it was too difficult. I asked him and he said he doesn't know as doesn't know how healthy his teeth are

He's having a sleep and we're finding it hard to keep him eating and drinking but will go to A &E if continues to check hydrated enough

Ice lollies? A treat but cooling/numbing and hydrating. You could make them with fruit juice or smoothies?
