Hi my name is jo about a week ago my daughter got quite ill didn't eat/drink for 24hrs then slowly got better. She is now as full as beans and as energetic as any child her age but she has this weird cough.Kinda a chesty cough should i take her to the dr or do you think this is the kind of thing that will go in time

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

How old is your daughter? Is she coughing anything up? Always best to get little ones checked out just in case.

If she's fine and doesn't have a temperature it's just a cough. If it's still hanging around in a couple of weeks take her then.

she is 4 its just a cough thus why i am unsure she is now eating and drinking perfectly fine now.Like i said just a chesty cough its hard to get a idea of how sick she is as not great with words

if you're worried, take her to the gp.

If she's full of beans then I'd say she's fine.

You should only go after a couple of weeks if a child seems otherwise well.
