Hi ladies
I've got 6 month old triplet boys, and one of them has constant dry skin particularly on his forehead and legs, he also has a bit of eczema I think on the back of his head, what creams do you recommend as nothing is working.
Also I noticed that his feet are always a funny colour compared to his brothers, they are almost blue, any ideas what this could be?

Ta ladies
Joe xx

Has he got any allergies at all?

re eczema I found that cutting out any chemical products e.g. baby shampoo etc and changing to a really mild natural sensitive one worked. TBH I only use water on my DS's hair these days (and he's 2.5) and it's perfectly clean - self cleans as it were.

Are you sure it's not cradle cap on the back of his head?

What are you using to bath them? I found going water only helped and limiting baths to only when really needed. If that doesn't help, I have eczema and find Aveeno stuff is really good for my skin.

My ds always had purple feet at that age (and until walking in fact). Maybe speak to hv but just wanted to reassure it could be nothing.

i did also hear that sunflower oil is the best treatment for eczema.

Thanks ladies
They all have a bit of cradle cap, but the front of his head is dry and flakey and doesn't look like cradle cap, I've used dermol cream and bath ointment that doc prescribed but hasn't helped. I do use just asad baby bath, so perhaps I'll just try the water. He has no allergies that I know of, haven't started on solids yet as alought he's 6 months they were 2 months permy.

Get your doctor to prescribe some aveeno and start slathering him with it.
