DD(2) diarrhoea & vomiting 24 hrs after play farm visit - coincidence?

Took Ds(9) and dd(2) to a local children's play farm, we've been load of times previously without incident and I'm fanatical about washing their hands after petting the animals - yesterday was no exception. However dd was sick in the night and again this morning and has had terrible watery diarrhoea all day, she's asleep now but has been complaining of a painful tummy all day.

Apart from the d&v she's in good spirits and is drinking lots, she's not eaten anything but I'm not overly concerned about the lack of food.

Anyway does this sound like anything other than a dose of d&v?

It could be a coincidence but keep an extra close eye on her. Could you maybe ring your GP surgery tomorrow for advice?

I think it is a bug that's going round. My LO (2.5y) has it, and I know of two other little ones that have it also. Hope your LO is doing better!

Thanks for the comments. Typically The morning after my post she started to get much better and is now right and rain and had a fan Easter stuffing chocolate in her mouth at every opportunity Smile
