16month old off food and being sick

Took my 16 month old to the doctors today as he has been Really clingy and wingy. He also had been sick a few times and has gone off food and milk, his poo was quite runny and pale. The doctor said this was teething, came home and my son seemed fine then I went to give him a bottle before bed, he had one sip then chucked up everywhere. He was showing no signs of teething. I'm sure it's something else, he had been teething for a month before and I know the difference. Anybody have any ideas what could be wrong?

Could he just have a tummy bug? Is he getting any water and keeping it down?
