has anyones child had scoliosis correction surgery?

I think I understand what the operation entails but I'm confused about timescales.
Can you remember how much notice you were given?
We've had all the one stop clinic, an mri
I'm presuming the next step is pre op, then op?

I've rang the co coordinator but have had no response.

I feel a bit in limbo (and tbh it's exasperating my anxiety)

I don't think a generic answer is possible.

:o bonsoir, I did have a feeling that was the case. We were told it would be four months, four months ago. The estimated date for surgery was Feb/March but we've heard nothing since January.
I think part of my worry is we will get a letter saying it will be in a fortnight time.
I think I need reassurance that as its major surgery we do get notice (though I know things change)

Can your GP chase up for you?

Yes, I suppose they could. They're very good :)
