DS is 28 months and yesterday became symptomatic. Tonight his cough is making sleep tough for him and I've just been up with him and given him Calpol which seems to have helped.
He was fine in himself today. Are normally, lots of energy but his cough has worsened. I have eye drops from the pharmacy that I administered twice today and a honey and glycerin cough syrup that he took this afternoon and spat out tonight. I have put Vicks on his feet and then popped socks on as some people think it can help with a cough but otherwise should I be taking him to the doctor?
I feel as though he is managing his symptoms well but then when he is crying his eyes out and coughing like a drain I am thinking I should get him to the doctor in the morning.
Any advice please. He is my precious only born and I don't know what the hell I am doing
