my 4 year old daughter is hyperactive all of a sudden???!!!

Hiya all,
My daughter has all of a sudden become really hyper and weird, I thought it was because of the Xmas hols...but she's climbing on sofa, dog all the time evan when I tell her to stop, she doesn't listen, she takes 1 hour to get the coat/shoes on as she's gets giddy. Its not like her at all, if we tell her off she laughs at us! We recently told her that she will be having a brother or sister soon so I don't no of its that or not as its only been the last month or so. Can anyone please suggest anything or have had the same problem with there child????

Is she eating anything different?

Mine was like this when we went to USA, it was the food colourings. There are more of these colourings available in the UK now, I got my DH a Santa with jelly beans from Next and that had the colours in the ingredients, so we know not to give them to her.
