Poorly baby with spotty rash - ideas?

Ds2 is 8 months. Spots appeared on his tummy on Friday and have rapidly spread so every bit of him is now covered.

He's taking less milk and food and is having frequent runny nappies.

He's very tired, sleeping 13+ hours at night and multiple naps of up to 4 hours in the day.

Slightly warm but no fever or sickness.

Is this just a virus or something more serious? The rash looks bad but doesn't seem to be itchy.

What are the spots like? Could it be chickenpox? Do the spots fade under pressure? Are they blistery?

Raised red spots everywhere. DS1 hasn't had chicken pox either so not entirely sure what they look like but they seem to be spots rather than blisters.

I've had a look at measles and rubella rashes and I'd say they look more like that, but Dr. Internet says if it was that the spots would start behind the ears/on the face and then spread, whereas his started on his tummy.

Sounds like Roseola

Yep looks like a roseola rash but he hasn't had a fever Confused

NHS direct is saying take him to a GP today, so I might go to a walk in centre when he wakes up just to be reassured.
