Just that really he's covered in little light red spots. He was off his food in the night on the 30th didn't eat his dinner neither yesterday was he really into it. He woke up at 11 yesterday and was falling asleep in the car at about 2 and he never naps in the day now some spots are looking like this on his bottom. (Sorry for the bum shot that's where he's itching them)

DD has had some spots like this last few days. She has also been off her food. There was a little spot in her mouth and a couple on her hands so think it is hand, foot and mouth. Spots are less blistery than chicken pox.

Hope he gets better soon!

His hands are fine and only spots around his mouth, do I treat him? Can he go to nursery on Monday?

If it's hand, foot and mouth they're fine to go to nursery as long as they are well if that makes sense. Treatment is just calpol/ibuprofen if they are in pain and fluids/rest.

I'd keep an eye on him and see if he gets more itchy blistery spots tomorrow and if chicken pox therefore seems more likely, and go from there.
