Hi my son has milia spots on his face mainly around eye area and just below and also one of two on his eyelids

I really don't want to be lancing and popping them as I'm worried about scarring his face

I would mention here that up until now he is mainly in bothered about them - however has mentioned lately that his class friends keep telling him he has spots - I'm concerned this will lead to classroom teasing so feel now I really do need to get a grasp of how to deal with and vanquish the spots once and for all

Is it necessary to take him to the doctor for this? Seems a bit of a waste of an appointment ???

I should probably also mention here that he suffers from eczema and whilst it's not on his face there are times his face gets extremely dry

I guess what I am asking here is if there is a skincare product gentle enough for young skin that will help get rid of these spots? Does anyone have any experience of Milia Spots ?

The usual advice is to wait as they usually clear up on their own. How long has he had them? If it is more than 3 months go to the GP.

There isn't really anything specific that you can use on his face for Milia...they tend to go as they please really.

A good facialist and/or dermatologist can deal with milia.

Do they really go on their own eventually? I didn't think so, but maybe.....
