Treating a 5 year old who has a mouth ulcer

Apart from keeping up with good oral hygiene and doing salt water rinses, is there anything I can do for DD2? She's had a mouth ulcer for a couple of days and it is getting more painful. She is managing to eat but finding it increasingly painful. I can't find any mouth ulcer treatment for a five year old by looking online and the local pharmacy closed ten mins ago. I can drive out to another pharmacy if there is something that I can give her.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Bonjela. They do a children's one. It numbs the area and aids healing.

Here: Junior [[http://www.boots.com/en/Bonjela-Junior-Gel-15g_1470801/?cm_mmc=pla--google--PLAs-_-Boots+Shopping+-+Category+-+Baby]]

Or you could use the one for babies if the pharmacy doesn't have this one for slightly older DC.
