Anyone's dc had a ganglion cyst on their foot?

On wed night I spotted a lump on dd1's left foot, I took her to the gp and she was referred for a X-ray ( which she had today ). I'm not sure what the lump is but after looking on google it seems very likely that it's a ganglion cyst. Dd1 suffers with hypermobility in her feet and wears insoles. We now have to wait a week for her X-ray results to see if anything shows up and then decide what to do next ( leave whatever it is or remove it ).

Has anyone else dc had a ganglion? Apparently it's rare for a child to have one?

I had one on my wrist which was surgically removed under GA when I was 12. I was told they were v common.

Ds had one from age 4 to about 6 . He is a competitive gymnast and we think that's what caused it.
It disappeared by itself.
Doctor checked it and confirmed it was a ganglion.

Hopefully this one will disappear, I'm worried about it making wearing her shoes tricky as she already struggles with her insoles. My mum had one removed from her hand last year, they seem more common on hands than they do feet?
