Is a cold ever not just a cold in a 15 month old?

My DD is so poorly... Eyes streaming and can barely open them, nose so runny that the skin underneath is so ridiculously sore it will bleed if touched, hot, sounds hoarse, coughing, not eating and having lots of trouble getting her to sleep...

This is the fifth day of this and it just doesn't seem to be getting any better. It's actually getting worse ..

I'm giving calpol and lots of fluids but I'm getting a bit worried about her as she's so unsettled and just won't stop crying.

Temperature? Breathing ok? I'd call 111 to be honest.

I feel for you curious Sad My 7 month old dd is on day 3 of a similar cold, it's just horrible for them. Sleeping is impossible as she's so stuffed up, but she is eating.
Have you tried your dd with her favorite food? Is she drinking? 5 days is a lot poor mite. Maybe ring 111 for advice - it might be flu rather than just a cold? I always think the difference between a cold and something else is whether they eat or not… Are her ears bothering her? Ear infections can be started by a cold and can make them really poorly.
Will you keep us updated? Good luck...

She's coming to the end of it now, thank god. It was awful, how's your baby?
