Duane syndrome and 3D movies

My son has been diagnosed with Duane syndrome (Lazy eye syndrome), I think it is fairly mild, only affecting his left eye. I am planning to get some cinema ticket for a 3D movie for him and my DH for Father's day, but I'm not sure if he could see anything or it would be all a blur.

Could anybody give me advice on this please?

3D is a spectrum so may see it to a degree or I would expect with duanesfully as he will be looking straight ahead.

Most people with Duanes have good 3D

If his vision is equal or nearly them I don't think he will miss oiy
