My 12 year old ds has just had this diagnosis in both knees. Originally we thought it was something else (Osgood) but we saw the specialist yesterday with the x rays and he thinks it is this. He is off all sport for 6 months (agonizing for him as he is a keen athlete), but after googling, I am now worried that it will be an ongoing problem. Has anyone any experience of this?
