2yo is starting swimming, hopefully, but has glue ear, so i will need to keep her ears dry. Any experiences of using ear plugs and a head band? Any type better than others? Thanks!

putty buddies with a neoprene head band worked great for us with swimming and bath time. We got ours from swimstop.co.uk

Our ent department gave us a leaflet to have specially made ones.
We didn't because they were £25 each I think, but I expect they must be good if the hospital 'endorses' them.

If not I think you can by mouldable wax ones.

Good luck.Poor dd-glue ear is pants.

If she is going to lessons, hearing could be a problem.
Make sure you advise the teacher!

Thanks for the tips. I did wonder if she's hear anything, might defeat the object of swimming lessons! DD hates having cotton wool in her ears so I'm not holding out much hope that ear plugs and a band will work. Hopefully she will be so distracted by the water she won't notice. The teacher knows about her glue ear and it's a trial session so we will see how we go.
