anyone got any good tips for quickly calming eczema on ds's face?

Ds has had a recent flareup of eczema on his cheeks which doesn't seem to behave like eczema on his torso. In the last few days it has been clearing up but typically today it has gone bright red again. He has quite an important photo being taken later and short of make up (which I refuse to do) what else can I do to calm it down quickly or conceal it?
TIA

Not much really. I've got photos from when DD was small and she's bandaged up due to eczema or you can see her eczema patches. I see it as her at that time in her life although as it went on for years we'd have no photos if we waited for perfect skin!

Do you have any prescribed creams? Perhaps it's settled down a bit.

thanks greencybermummy. We gave him plenty of water to drink and reapplied his cream which seemed to work.
You could still see patches but they weren't too bad and he wasn't too self-conscious. Smile
