Ds has had such bad health recently. Still under investigation for severe tummy pains that come and go and this wednesday has been diagnosed as having Scarlett fever. Today he has come out with what looks chicken pox and temperature rising again. What can I do help him ?

On day 3 possibly day 4 of spots. He is absolutely covered. How much longer will they it take for spots to stop coming Very worried as he has high temp too. Confirmed that it was Scarlett fever he developed on Wednesday by swab results. So fighting both together.

Have you phoned OOH and had it confirmed as chickenpox? Wouldn't normally suggest that but I'd want to be absolutely sure it wasn't a strange complication of scarlet fever.

Yes thank you ohyou, I thought that but been examined by a paediatrician who confirmed. Just incredible bad luck.

At least that's something reassuring :) poor little lad though. He must be feeling miserable.
