Toddler with pale poo and spitting out food

She asks to eat, but refuses most food. Then she tends to chew her food before spitting it out. She's been gagging on food quite a lot over the past few days and had a gagging/choking episode on some bread yesterday that made her sick. I wondered if it was related to her silent reflux or a stomach bug?

And the poo thing is weird. She's always constipated, but now it's very pale yellow/beige.

Any suggestions?

Pale poo is not a good sign, call your doc or 111 for advice

I would see a doctor as I believe pale poo can be indicative of a problem with the liver. Worth ruling out.

Can be after effects of a bug but could be more serious to do with bile production/BILE DUCT obstruction or other liver probs. If this is the case it cannot wait and uour little one wil need to be seen soon.

Are you sure she's got all teeth? Both mines poo goes a funny pale yellow when teething. And revert/ed to sloppier food.

They also go pale when coming down with little viruses.

She doesn't have all her teeth. Canines came through last month, could be teething causing the not eating thing (and reflux symptoms) but the poo thing is new for us. Could be a bug, lots going around and she's just come off some long term antibiotics for glue ear. She seems well enough other than the not eating. A bit tired maybe, but she didn't sleep well last night ^^

I might give NHS Direct a call. Thanks for the feedback.
