Ds had a scan on tummy today following weeks of pain in his tummy with blood and WBC in urine but no infection. Everything looked ok except a few things noted about kidneys. He was asked to empty bladder twice as the first time he still hadn't properly and it was noted that both kidney looked that there was pressure on them from perhaps not emptying them properly (possibly not significant). Secondly the doctor questioned if it was fat in the kidneys? She said this could be normal but hard to see if it could be stones . We were told that we would probably be invited to X-ray next as this may show up stones more clearly. Too worried to google but is fat normally seen in kidneys? Do stones normally show on ultra sound?
