Despite being immunised against percussis, DS2 was diagnosed with whooping cough in Jan, aged 10 months.
The anti-bs helped his recovery (course finished in March as diagnosis came late on) & he has perked up considerably.
However he still regularly vomits after a coughing episode - maybe once every couple of days. He wakes coughing every day.
I appreciate that recovery is slow with whooping cough, but am concerned by the regular vomiting.
Does anyone have any experience of whooping cough and can recall the period when symptoms calmed/disappeared completely? Should I go back to GP?
