Dd raising 13 was told she was flat footed about 4-5 years ago so had insoles fitted. Great stopped alot of the pain she was getting in the ankles, knees and even hips. Started getting pains again and also noticed the shoe were wearing very fast on the out edge if the heel so got her fitted with new insoles. These seem to make a little difference till again she started to wear down her shoes. New shoes worked but with in a very short time she again was wearing down the outside of the heel. Stopped using the insoles pain was so much better.
Now I try to find dd really good support from her shoes as she clearly rolls inwards with most of the girly shoes. Dd has grown so fast in the last year and what pain she has had I've put down to her rapid growth. Just brought her new school shoes, last one shes had for about 6 months. The shop assistant noticed that the out side heel was slightly worn down and thought dd must roll out. What a surprise she had when she tried some pretty girly shoes on dd, the inward roll was so clear.
So how can it be that dd foot seem to roll out and she had a lovely high arch but her ankle clearly rolls in. As dd is really is struggling again with ankle knee and hip pain again
