DS1 (8) yawns in his sleep

Should I be concerned?
Has done it for a long time. There's a pause after the yawn before he takes a breath. Frightens the crap out of me xx

I can see it is very old post, but did you by any chance find out what can cause this late night yawning? My dd (10) start having the same. She sometimes yawns while asleep. Kind regards
