So my little man (he's 11 months)has a weird red blob under his eye, it has doubled in size in a week, dr is referring us to paediatrician as he wants a second oppinion.. But any ideas what it could be if it isn't a strawberry Nevis? Bit worried as it's got dark bits is very round altho sortve got 2 sections to it and has black bits and cracks on it.. Any other people experienced this? It started as a tiny dot then looked like a spot then was bigger but still quite flat and now it's the size of a pea.. Thanks in advance

sounds like strawberry naevus. Hopefully the paed will confirm.
dd has a massive one on her arm and it grew and grew and grew until about 18 months? (Can't remember 100%) It was bright red and bursting.

It has been shrinking since and now she's 5 its much smaller. Hers literally was a half circle about the size of a 50p coin.

Yes I was going to say strawberry naevus, they do grow rather quickly and then after a couple of years start to deflate in the middle and eventually disappear. Good to get it checked out by a paediatrician.
