cut on a face - not glued it - what next? happened 2 weeks ago

My DD fell on her face and cut her face ( open cut) the GP said not to worry it will heal. well.. no glue applied, just steri strips for 2 days...now i can see it is about 1.5 cm long and looks like a little tunnel ( open healed wound). is there anything I can do at this stage? I realise it shoudl have been glued! but now itis too late? stitches? dermatologist to look at it>?

I think it would be a plastic surgeon rather than a dermatologist you should see. Stupid GP.
