Scarlet fever rash after treatment? Confused

My 3 year old was diagnosed with Scarlet fever 2 weeks ago today.
Had the rash on the face and groin which faded / peeled after a few days on the pencillin.
Back to normal, no temperature and well in herself.
Yesterday she woke up with a cold, temperature of 37.2 which has gone down on its own now to 36.5 however in the last hour she had developed 2 red marks on her cheek, very similar looking to the ones she had with the scarlet fever.
Surely the rash can't still be lingering?
Or she's caught it again?!

Could it be slapped cheek virus, it's rife at the moment.

Hope she's better soon.

It's literally gone overnight so either the Scarlett fever rash coming and going or related to the cold she has

That's good,

It's come back up
Panicking now about reumatic fever as everywhere I read that can occur 2 weeks after scarlet fever

I would agree with the slapped face thought.

No fever still, I just hope Id know if it's reumatic fever
Will head back to the doctors tomorrow
