Raised red bump on side of dds foot

Dd is 5 and she has had a round raised red lump on the side of her foot near her little toe for about 10 days now. It didn't hurt and today it has developed a white top like a smooth blister. The white part feels a bit squishy as if there is air or liquid underneath but with the bump, I don't think it's a regular blister.

She wears properly fitting shoes that don't rub, what can this be? Think I might call the docs today.....

You could try soaking in Epsom salts, my ds has trouble with toenails inflaming the skin, and getting infected. A long soak in a warm water as can be stood will draw out infection. But check with gp.

With the water as warm as can be tolerated, obviously not scalding.

Thank you. I'm starting to wonder if it's a wart coming up. It's not sore. Think I'll get her to a gp to be on the safe side. Dh thought there might be a foreign object or splinter etc but the skin hasn't been broken at all and I can't see anything.

Epsom salts usually burst those liquidy blisters. But I am no medic lol.
