Toddler rash anything to do with dairy?

DS2 is 18 months old. He was CMPI. When he was about 1 I reintroduced dairy slowly, up to the point where he had everything apart from fresh cows milk to drink (he was fine with yoghurt, cheese, cooked milk etc.) About 10 days ago I started mixing full fat milk with his soya milk morning and night. 2 days ago he developed a rash over his body and legs (not face). It blanches under pressure (first thing I checked). He has a slight temperature, he's off his food, not sleeping brilliantly, looks pale but is pretty cheery. Instinct tells me it's a virus and nothing to do with milk, but whenever I increase his dairy intake I get a bit paranoid. What do you think? Will obviously take him to the doctor on Monday if it's still there.

I have a 13 year old who drinks a lot of milk but not much else as far as dairy is concerned, and he recently had a series of patchy red areas similar to a rash on his thighs and left bottom cheek.it may just be coincidence but when he drank less milk it soon faded away.
