Hi does anyone have a remedy for helping a cough. I'm staying away from shop bought cough syrup as I've ready lots lately about being no good, full of sugar, containing glass ect.

Any ideas would be appreciated to help my LO poor throat!

I just used to give a teaspoonful straight into their mouth. it was just the honey we had - squeezy stuff.

If you can afford it, manuka honey would be best because it is supposedly more healing than general honey. www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/manuka-honey-medicinal-uses

Chocolate has anti-tussive properties and is probably as effective as anything you can buy over the counter.

Ahhh thanks :) I'll try the Manuka honey.

Chocolate is not an option as he is intolerant to dairy :/
