Loss of appetite with teething. What's normal?!

Hi all

I'm at my wits end with my 6.5 month DD. She's completely lost her appetite over the past week or so. It's getting so bad now that she's only taking 1 oz and refusing any more. I've tried gels, calpol, granules. Everything!

I've been told that loss of appetite with teething is normal, but is it normal for them to want so little?!!!

Thanks in advance

As long as she's not losing weight and -barring teeth- she's not unwell, she should be okay. Is she weaning too?

Try to relax as if you're worried at feeds, they pick up on it and it can cause upset. I'm sure everything will even itself out in time.

I forgot to ask, is this 1oz per day or per feed?

Thank you. Yes, I've started weaning - one 'meal' of puréed food at dinner time. She's ok so far. Not ravenous with it, but will take about 4 ice cubes worth of food.

It's 1oz a feed. She usually gets about 4/5 bottles a day. It's strange as she's worse with her first bottle when she should be at her hungriest! She's ok with her dream feed at 11pm. I might try mix some formula with weetabix tmrw morning to try and get her full bottle down her!!
