Is there anything I can do about 3yr olds 4am coughing?

4 nights in a row now, not ill except for some coughing in the day. Have tried liberal & frequent Vicks applications. She shares with dd1 who is being woken up & then doesn't go back to sleep so I don't either. Dd1 & I are wrecked.
Help please!

I don't have an answer, I'm afraid, but I am also up with a caughing baby and was wondering the same. I think I am going to try some caugh mixture tomorrow. I hope this was the last sleepless night for you.

Thank you, doubt it though!
Hope you have a better night too.

If you feel she's not "ill" as such apart from the coughing, it could be virally induced wheeze (very common in children of this age) which might be relieved by an inhaler - speak to your GP about it.

Second speaking to your GP. DD has inhalers for night coughs.

Hope it works out for you x

Same prob here for 3 nights in a row, until I gave pre-emptive calpol just before I went to bed at 11pm. That seemed to prevent the early morning coughing/waking etc.
Did that for two nights, all well. Debating whether or not to do it again tonight, probably won't unless there's any coughing before I go to bed.
Good luck.

Vicks on the feet; weird but it works in the Blondie house!
