10year old ds ill with cold and vomiting- anyone else got this?

Hi, ds has had since yesterday - what we thought was - the same cold as his dad. Started with horrible sore throat and slight temperature. This morning he vomited and is now stone cold and white as a sheet. He hasn't eaten since yesterday lunchtime.
Has anyone else had anything similar?
TIA

ds1 had tonsillitis last week and vomited with it.

ds2 is getting a throaty bug now and puked last night, although mostly because the sore throat was making him gag (sensory issues)

Hi, may be bad luck and a tummy bug on top of the cold, poor thing.

Any high temp, if he does and the vomiting isn't " bug" like ie not every few hours etc then prob worth a check re roast, ears , chest, UTI etc.

Hi, thanks for the replies. I've just rang the GP but they're closed till 2pm, I'll try them afterwards just to check if there's a bug going round (smiliar to this).

Sorry to hear about your two children SummerRain- poor things.
Thanks Twilight, I'll hopefully speak to GP and see what they say.

Thanks

Ds 1 2 and 3 had something similar last week. Started with sore throat, temperature, runny nose...then ds 2 and 3 went off food and had diarrhoea, while ds suddenly felt very sick but managed not to be. Other little children in our village have had the same and so have some of the boys in ds1's class ( they are 13). Hope your ds feels better soon

Thanks so much for that, he's been so poorly. He just took himself off to bed so he's definitely not good!

Oh dear, your poor DS. My DS 1 really struggled too, he stayed mostly in bed for about 4 days, which is most unlike him and when I called school on the 2nd day mentioning the sudden nausea after what I assumed was just a heavy cold they said a few of the boys had been completely wiped out with the same peculiar symptoms. The only good thing was despite the DCs being really poorly, DP and I got away with just a bit of a sniffle in the way of symptoms, so if it's the same thing hopefully you will be spared too Smile

There must be something going round- my 8mo DS has had a rotten cold for 2 weeks (guess in part teething), started with a rotten cough on Monday and has had 3 projectile vomit sessions today. Poor wee man. Hope all the wee ones get better ASAP.
