When to go to GP's with 10 year old cough?

Hello all, in the past I have tended to be a bit to eager to take my DD to the docs, so I would like some opinions on when to seek medical help with a cough. DD has been coughing for about four days now, no temperature, but on and off barking like a seal. Tonight has been the worst with her unable to sleep due to coughing. I listened to her breathing, via her back (not sure why but seemed a good idea!) and she is wheezy but no crackles. I sent her to school today but she didnot want to go. So docs tommorow or not?

Breathing difficulties?
Coughing up blood?
Chest pain?
See GP straight away.

Cough lingering for 2 weeks after virus. See GP too.

From NHS website.
Is cough mainly at night?

If no temperature and breathing fine, I would probably not go to the GP with my 3 year old unless he'd had the cough for a fortnight.

Breathing is a bit laboured but my test is she can talk ok, just constantly interrupted by coughing fit. And no to the others so I think no gps. But off school for rest as we are all still awake with coughing fits. Thank you all for helping me!
