Vomiting and appetite loss in 6 year old DD

I've googled my DD's symptoms and am now all worried - should I take her to the docs in the morning?

DD lost her appetite 4 days ago and has eaten only a few dry crackers since then. She's drinking water. She has no temperature and no diarrhoea. She is lethargic and is being sick but only once or twice per day and it's only water coming up. She is complaining of a tummy ache.

Should I be worried or is this prob just a bug? How long is normal to go without food? Poor thing was pretty skinny anyway!

I would. Just to check.

It's probably nothing serious, though.

DS has had something similar but for less longer, and he's 8.
The diarrhoea came towards the end.

Thanks Lweji. I took her to the Gp first thing. He was excellent, ruled out intestine blockage and appendicitis and then diagnosed bladder infection plus stomach bug, based on examination and blood in her urine sample. I hope it all clears up now with antibiotics for the infection. Phew!

Ps the blood was invisible to the naked eye so I was not even thinking along these lines, especially as DD didn't complain of pain on weeing. Always best to get a proper check up!
