Normally I ride things out with fluid and rest, but my youngest sounds very very pitiful. She's breathing ok, bar a cold and congestion, and alert but she sounds like a mewwing kitten with big eyes and clinging, she's so sad and pitiful it's breaking my heart at times. She has almost no cry. Medicine brings the temp within reason.

Is it a doctor one? I'm rubbish at nothing when, my head says no it's a cold but my heart makes me reach out. None of my others have lost their voice. She went for a hospital appointment on Friday and I've a feeling she picked it up there.

I'd take her tomorrow and explain exactly what you've put in your post to the doc. I'm like you and only go as a last resort.

Poor thing. Hope you both get some sleep tonight.

Thank you.

Sleep? She just doesn't anyway, hence the indecision I guess....

She's little. You're worried. Call the dr. Honestly they would always prefer to see her and there be nothing wrong, than not seeing her and there be something up.
