Glandular fever extreme fatigue

My daughter has has extreme tiredness, aches pains and sickness for a few weeks she's had a few tests for the basics like anemia and over active thyroid have been ruled out

Doc has said she thinks she's prob recovering from glandular fever from what I thought was just flu. Waiting on results to confirm

Has anyone's child or even themselves suffered from this is there anything supplement wise it could give her that would maybe help. She's unable to a full day at school and manages a few half days a week. She's in her GCSE year at school and is worrying herself that she's falling behind. It's hard to keep her of usually when she's ill.

I feel pretty helpless watching her sleep most of the time and cry she's in pain with her aches. She's building up her gentle exercise but that wipes her out after she's usually and active child regularly dances and competes.

Any advice would be gratefully recieved

not much help i'm afraid but my dd's friend had glandular fever, she did get back to normal eventually, just let her sleep when she needs to I think there was nothing they could do to push her back to normal iyswim. just remind her that the main thing is her health and eventually she'll get back to her best. In the meantime make sure you get results from GP so you know exactly what's going on, if you're not happy take her back.
