Mole on chest bleeding and itchy....wwyd?

My ds2 is 5 and has a mole on his upper left chest.
A few moments ago he asked me to check his chest as it was "itchy"
The mole is red and sore looking and raised.
I have put some savlon on.
Do I take him to the gp?
Is this serious? :(

Yes, take him to the gp. None of us know if it is serious, so your gp is the person to ask.

Yes I think a trip to the GP is in order.

Could have been red and sore because he was rubbing/scratching it before you looked at it but go and have it checked out just in case.

Dr thought the mole was ok and his rash was a viral one.
Just got to keep on eye on the mole.
