After some advice please as not having much luck on interweb. Having a nightmare couple of days, I'm fullyaware that I sound completely irresponsible so please don't judge! My one year old fell down the stairs this morning, about 8 stairs up from the middle landing and tumbled backwards, not knocked out or anything just a big thud. We have a stair gate at the top but can't fit one at the bottom as one side is open. To make matters worse, he also fell off my bed last night Confused

So I'm keeping an eye on him now. He was a bit grisly and very clingy but we did the school run and he was ok. He's asleep now though, should I try and wake him, tickle is feet I'm never really sure what to look for.

You don't need to wake him fully, just make sure he's rousable. If he starts to vomit, seems disoriented or is unusually uncoordinated get him checked out.

And there's no judging here, it happens :)

Copy what SweetTeaVodka said. Look out for any unexpected signs of sleepiness (ie he had a sleep earlier, so should need one until tonight), sickness, being uncoordinated or particularly stressed. Is he old enough to answer questions, ie does your head hurt? Always, worth getting a headache checked out if one comes on. Hope he is okay.

Thanks both, he's only 13 months so no talking but he seems ok. I think he had a bit of a headache yesterday which is pretty understandable but he's toddling around as normal this morning. Bloody typical that dh was away for a few days! He's all good now thank you Smile
